Context:
This week I continued establishing skills in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. This week in particular using Premier Pro to edit a 1-minute video. I chose to use premiere pro as it is industry standard software used by many. I chose to create a video of London as it’s the city we are in and is well known and loved by many.
Research:
For inspiration, I decided to watch other short videos of London to give me inspiration on what to create. I found these videos helpful and give me some good ideas on how I wanted mine to look.
Technical:
I Did research into how to use some of the technical features within the software and learned more tools I haven’t previously fully explored.
As found in this video.
Practical Skills:
Over this week I’ve been able to further develop my visual & editing skills and explore premier pro more. Using features like Glacier Blur, The Text tool, the cut tool & more.

This screen shows the final project, before exporting in the adobe “effects” workspace view.
This screen shows the blur effect I use with it selected and added onto the FX Panel and with it fading to show the clip un blurred.

Evaluation:
Overall I’m happy with the work I have created. I would have added more FX, transitions and potentially a voiceover talking about London. Doing this may have helped develop it further and added more to the overall feel of the project.
When I exported the video I left a clip accidentally at 10 minutes meaning once it exported it took a while to upload to youtube, however, once i had it on Youtube i was able to use their built-in editor to chop it back to 1 minute when it plays on Youtube
