-The Radio Studio
To Actually Get The Shows I Had To Do Them! I Did this by Presenting The Breakfast Show In This Studio. Operating The Desk Shown In The Image (Sonifex S2) With One Side Of The Desk For Mic’s & Monitor Levels & The Other Having All Other Sources From Myria That Plays All Of The Music To A Fader Dedicated To Burli (Our Newsroom Software) although i don’t need that for my show as i pre record my show to sound as if it’s live.
Myraid V5 Anywhere
This Software Plays All Of The Music, Productions & Almost All The Other Audio That Is Played On The Show all of that is ran out of the studio back in Weymouth, Dorset. Through Anywhere I record my links into the system (as shown below). The audio once recorded is in the log and will play from the Weymouth Studio
This Software is seen as Industry standard software and is used across the industry in community radio stations all across the world.

The Show Planner
I Plan all of my shows to ensure I Know what I am saying and when but also to ensure my show is well structured. I use a Microsoft EXCEL Spreadsheet I Custom made to be able to plan well and structe the show to a good format that suits AIR And its style.
It’s marked with each type of link and content and has any key notes in it as well. There is also a page for all of my content so I can track where I got what from if I ever needed it again or had any issues.

To Make my shows sound as slick and as professional as possible i Sugue my shows on Myriad Anywhere
This is where the audio is made tighter and beat-matched so that the show flows better and keeps the listere engaged. It usually sees long Intros cut down and the production tends to “Hit The Vocal”

Gathering My Radio Shows
Unfortunately AIR Doesn’t have an automatic show-recording system, because of this I have to do a rather backhanded way to get my shows!
To Download the Shows I Went onto anywhere and found my links, put them through loopback and then put them all into audition before removing the music around them. I then marked all my best ones and have included them above.
The Weather
At AIR We have weather play out every hour to inform the listeners of whats going on, it plays from 8AM-8PM its one bulitin played out many all day. There are two ways we can do it and i have attached a video of the way in which we mainly use.
METHOD 1:
We write the script using the met office briefing, We then go into audition and record the bulletin in person in a studio where me or someone would read the script, after that we add the music/sponsor before I then upload it to AIR’s system to playout throughout the day
METHOD 2 (THE NEW PREFERED METHOD!) :
The script gets written using the met office briefing that we receive, I then paste this into ElevenLabs where i have recreated my voice in AI, By uploading the script it reads it out as me and then saves it to my Mac. After that, i upload it into Adobe Audition to edit it with the sponsor and then I Upload it into the system to playout. This method saves me about 10 minutes a day as i no longer need a studio and can do it from anywhere with WiFi!
