CONTEXT:
I Am making a four-step video about how to create a good-quality video. It is for 16-19 year olds. The video will be simple and get the message across easily on what they need to do. This week I am on the production phase
RESEARCH:
Technical:
For filming, I have chosen to use my iPhone, As it is high quality and is also the whole point of the video to be how to shoot on iPhone. It is also what the brief required.
I Used a tripod to stabilise the video and ensure that it’s set better for the rule of thirds
For lighting the shot I used two lights with filters with them being placed in a way to light one side of the face more, creating a cinematic feel.
For the microphone, I am using the one on my phone.
Stylistic:
The video style will be similar to the video below but aimed slightly more towards a younger audience.
PROBLEM-SOLVING:
Problem: My phone microphone has a problem leading to it not sounding very good.
Solution: After filming I Put the audio through Adobe Podcast
Problem: My Phone Ran Out of storage
Solution: I Deleted old footage I didn’t need along with apps, and backed up items to the cloud.
Problem: The lights wouldn’t work when I first turned them on.
Solution: I had one of them with the settings too high so turned it down and it worked fine.
PLANNING & PRODUCTION:

I got the talent in the studio and set the studio up, they then followed the provided script that I wrote last week using the video plan and then got them to record it.
PRACTICAL SKILLS:
I Had the studio set up like this with the two lights both with filters on to slightly diffuse the shot and some natural lighting then the camera in the center of the shot.

EVALUATION & REFLECTION:
WWW: The Filimning in the studio went well and smooth
EBI: The process was quicker as it took 30 minutes
WWW: The shot was framed well using the rule of thirds
EBI: I used a better-quality microphone
WWW: I successfully filmed the video on my phone to a high quality.
EBI: I Used A DLSR so it was higher quality
