Context:
For the next few weeks, we have been asked to create a video based around how to and how not to film.
It is to be aimed at Students who are in the academy and is designed to teach them and help them with future projects.

To plan i used Microsoft word part of the 365 suite, because it is free to me as an academy student and is well used by people across all industries.

To gather ideas for this video I went to YouTube to see if there was anything similar to what i was thinking or could give me some ideas, when i was on youtube I managed to find 2 videos that shows the style and format i was aiming for:
This video was also a good inspiration because it shows you how to do it on a mobile which is how I also happen to be doing my video. Both videos talk about lighting, framing and audio, which are all things I Will be talking about in my video.
I also plan to style my video like the both in a tutorial format showcasing what’s correct and incorrect.
PLANNING & PRODUCTION:
I Planned my video by putting together a plan of what should be included in it and how it should be done.
This Shows What Should Be Included in each section of the video. For what not to do I plan to do the opposite of what it says above.
I then created a plan of how i wish to structure the video with an intro and outro.
PRACTICAL SKILLS:
For Practical this week i set up the studio and filmed the opening shot to my video IN 305 where i plan to film my whole video with the studio set-up looking like this:
This image shows the way I set up the lights with one lighting up the presenter on the camera just in front of them to the side. then one placed closer to the background to light that up and add some more depth to the shot. There is also some natural light thanks to the huge windows in the room, which helps further to light the subject.

Overall, i think this week went well with a few problems to solve however these were easily overcome and something to remember for the future. The Filming will be finished next week with the aim to have the video finished by Friday.
